Hi folks,we're finally back on line with internet in our new apartment. I've got some catching up to do with blog posts. Meanwhile, here are some more pictures of our excursions around Zibo: Ross and I rode our bikes to People's (Renmin) Park in the heart of the city. I'd been there before, but had been waiting for Ross to come before trying out the paddle-boats on the lake. Truthfully, paddling around got boring pretty fast. We decided this was an activity better suited to young lovers than old married couples. And Ross wouldn't let me use the built-in water squirt guns to get into a water battle with anybody else. He didn't trust the lake water and didn't want to get squirted with it. But besides the paddle boats, the park offers lots of walking paths and places to sit and enjoy the trees, the plants and the people passing by. We were on our way out when we heard music. It turned out to be a group of people dancing in the park: Now there's a great activity for old married couples. But alas, I've probably got the largest feet (for a woman) in Shandong Province and Ross's knees are shot, so dancing is out for us. We'll stick with our bicycles.
